Emotional Fuel
There are many days when I wake up exhausted, uninspired, yet I know, as a bodybuilder, that I have to find that fire, that drive, to go in and absolutely crush the weights.
On those less-than-perfect days, it’s nice to have a little external motivation, a little “emotional fuel”, as I call it. That “emotional fuel” makes me put on my hoodie and head out the door, ready to destroy absolutely anything and everything that lies in my path.
This is the warrior mentality that guides me day to day. I try to cultivate that mentality, to various degrees, in my clients/pupils– that idea of taking 100% ownership of your life and the means to achieving your own goals, and enjoying it all in the process.
I realize that many of you think I’m a pretty odd duck. Some of the things I find motivational might seem odd to you. But I will do my best to deliver the honest-to-goodness spirit of what drives me further. Hopefully it will help you in your own quest.
However, if after a few doses of emotional fuel you think it’s a waste of your time, you can always click the UNSUBSCRIBE link at the bottom of every email. We will briefly mourn the fact that you have left us. And then we will forget about it and move on with our lives.
I am looking for interaction from you as well. If something motivates you, let me know. If something I say makes you upset or you disagree, let me know.
